PureShine Before Booking

At PureShine Cleaning Corp., we believe in transparent communication and exceptional service. These policies are designed to create a smooth experience for both our clients and our cleaning professionals.

Please review these terms before booking a service. By scheduling a cleaning appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the policies outlined below.

What This Covers

Clear answers before you book any service.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. To help us maintain scheduling availability and reserve time for our cleaning teams, the following cancellation policy applies:

More than 72 hours before your appointment:
No cancellation fee applies. Rescheduling requests are subject to availability.

Between 24 and 72 hours before your appointment:
A cancellation or rescheduling fee of up to 50% of the estimated service amount may apply.

Less than 24 hours before your appointment, same-day cancellations, lockouts, or no access:
The full service amount may be charged.

A lockout includes situations where our team cannot access the property due to missing keys, incorrect entry instructions, building restrictions, security issues, or the absence of a responsible party when access is required.

Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

 

Any invoice not paid within 5 calendar days may be subject to a late payment charge of 3% per month (36% per annum) on the outstanding balance until paid in full.

 

PureShine Cleaning Corp. reserves the right to suspend future services on accounts with overdue balances.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • E-transfer
  • Credit card (+3% processing fee) 
  • Debit card (+3% processing fee)
  • Cash
  • Cheque for approved commercial accounts only.

All quotations and service packages are based on the information, photos, videos, square footage, and property details provided by the client at the time of booking. 

 

Our pricing assumes that the property condition reasonably matches the description provided. Quotes are based on the scope of work agreed upon at the time of booking and do not include undisclosed conditions or additional services. 

 

If, upon arrival, the condition of the property is significantly different from what was disclosed, including but not limited to: 

 

● Excessive dirt, grease, dust, or buildup

● Heavy pet hair, pet odors, or pet waste

● Excessive clutter or personal belongings

● Hoarding conditions

● Biohazards or unsafe working conditions

● Mold, bodily fluids, pest infestations, or hazardous materials

● Post-construction or renovation debris not previously disclosed

● Additional rooms, bathrooms, appliances, or areas not included in the original quote

● Occupied areas that were represented as vacant

● Conditions requiring significantly more time than reasonably anticipated.

 

PureShine Cleaning Corp. reserves the right to: 

 

● Adjust the service price

● Recommend additional services

● Request approval for additional charges

● Modify the scope of work to fit within the booked package

● Reschedule the service; or 

● Decline the service if the conditions present a safety concern or require specialized cleaning beyond the scope of the original booking. 

 

If additional charges or recommended additional time are declined, our team will complete as much of the agreed scope of work as reasonably possible within the booked package. Areas not completed due to undisclosed conditions, excessive buildup, accessibility limitations, or time required beyond the original scope will not qualify for our Satisfaction Guarantee.

 

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the condition, size, occupancy status, and scope of work required when requesting a quotation

Prior to your appointment, we will send a confirmation outlining the services included in your booking.

Any additional services requested after booking must be submitted in writing and are subject to:

● Availability in our schedule

● Availability of properly trained staff

● Licensing and insurance requirements for specialized services.

 

Additional services requested on the day of the appointment may not be accommodated.

 

Services not included in the original booking cannot be guaranteed and may require a separate appointment.

 

To ensure our teams arrive with the proper equipment, supplies, and staffing, clients must accurately describe the service required at the time of booking.

If our team arrives and discovers that the property requires a different service than what was originally booked, or that significant conditions were not disclosed in advance, PureShine Cleaning Corp. reserves the right to:

  • Decline the service;
  • Reschedule the appointment; and/or
  • Charge our service fee of $200 CAD.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • A move-out cleaning booked as a regular cleaning;
  • A post-construction cleaning not disclosed in advance;
  • Heavy contamination or excessive buildup not previously reported;
  • Hoarding conditions;
  • Biohazard situations.

In these situations, our Satisfaction Guarantee will not apply.

 

For move-out, move-in, and post-construction cleaning services, clients are expected to ensure the property is vacant and ready for cleaning upon our arrival.

If movers, contractors, painters, flooring installers, renovation crews, or other trades are still working in the property:

  • Cleaning times may increase significantly;
  • Areas may need to be cleaned multiple times due to ongoing dust and debris;
  • Certain areas may not be accessible to our team;
  • Previously cleaned areas may become dirty again due to ongoing work;
  • Our Satisfaction Guarantee will not apply.

PureShine Cleaning Corp. cannot be held responsible for dust, debris, or recontamination caused by ongoing construction, renovation, moving activities, or third-party work after our service has been completed.

Post-Construction & Renovation Cleaning

Post-construction and renovation cleaning quotes are based on the condition represented at the time of quoting.

Additional dust, debris, paint, drywall dust, silicone, adhesives, grout haze, stickers, protective films, construction materials, or ongoing contractor activity present at the time of service may result in additional charges or additional cleaning time.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that all areas included in the service are reasonably accessible at the time of cleaning.

Our team cannot guarantee the cleaning of:

  • Areas blocked by furniture, boxes, personal belongings, or construction materials;
  • Rooms occupied by contractors or other workers;
  • Areas requiring specialized equipment or access not previously disclosed;
  • Areas presenting safety concerns to our staff.

Any inaccessible areas may be excluded from the service without refund.

To protect both our clients and our company, PureShine Cleaning Corp. may take photographs and/or video recordings before, during, and after the service.

These records may be used for:

  • Quality control;
  • Staff training;
  • Insurance claims;
  • Service verification;
  • Documentation of property condition;
  • Dispute resolution;
  • Payment disputes and chargebacks;
  • Collection proceedings;
  • Legal proceedings when necessary.

Photos and videos are stored securely and will not be used for marketing, advertising, social media, testimonials, or promotional purposes without the client’s prior written consent.

By booking a service, the client authorizes PureShine Cleaning Corp. to document the condition of the property before, during, and after the service. Such documentation may be used as evidence in the event of payment disputes, service complaints, chargebacks, insurance claims, collection proceedings, or legal action.

PureShine Cleaning Corp. reserves the right to rely on photographic and video evidence to verify the condition of the property, accessibility of areas, completion of services, pre-existing conditions, and any circumstances that may affect the outcome of the cleaning service.

 

We stand behind the quality of our work.

If you are not satisfied with an area that was included in the agreed scope of work, you must notify us within 24 hours of service completion.

Upon review, PureShine Cleaning Corp. may, at its sole discretion, return to address any missed areas.

The Satisfaction Guarantee does not apply when:

  • The scope of work changes during the appointment;
  • Areas are inaccessible during the service;
  • Other contractors, movers, residents, tenants, or third parties are present and affecting the cleaning process;
  • The condition of the property differs materially from what was disclosed at booking;
  • Additional services are requested on-site without prior approval;
  • The property has ongoing renovation or construction activities;
  • The client declines additional services or additional cleaning time recommended by our team;
  • Conditions beyond our control impact the quality or outcome of the service.

Refunds are not provided for cleaning services already performed.

Clients are responsible for providing safe and timely access to the property and arranging any required parking.

Any paid parking fees, tolls, access charges, or building-related costs incurred by our team may be added to the final invoice if free parking is not available.

PureShine Cleaning Corp. shall not be liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage;
  • Normal wear and tear;
  • Improperly installed fixtures;
  • Defective surfaces or materials;
  • Manufacturer defects;
  • Damage resulting from conditions outside our control.

Any concerns regarding the service must be reported within 24 hours of completion to allow us the opportunity to inspect and address the issue.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PureShine Cleaning Corp.’s liability shall be limited to the value of the cleaning service provided.

 

PureShine Cleaning Corp. reserves the right to refuse, stop, or reschedule services if:

  • Working conditions are unsafe;
  • Aggressive, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, or inappropriate behavior is directed toward our staff;
  • The property presents undisclosed hazards;
  • Utilities such as water or electricity are unavailable;
  • The actual condition of the property differs significantly from the information provided at booking;
  • The requested service falls outside our licensing, insurance coverage, safety policies, or scope of services.

In such cases, applicable cancellation fees and minimum service charges may apply.

These Policies & Terms of Service apply to all services provided by PureShine Cleaning Corp.

By booking a service with PureShine Cleaning Corp., the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Policies & Terms of Service.

PureShine Cleaning Corp. reserves the right to update or modify these policies at any time. The version in effect on the date of service shall apply.
